Shoe Care
Nubuck
Nubuck is a type of leather made from cowhide. Like suede, it is sanded to create a nap but while suede is made from the inside of the hide, nubuck is made from the outside, which is much stronger and which lasts longer.
For cleaning, use a nubuck cloth to wipe away light soiling and shiny spots in circular motions. Remove laces beforehand. Brush gently with a nubuck block to clear dirt. For tough stains, use nubuck cleaner sprayed onto a cloth, then brush off residue. For tougher stains, use the nubuck liquid and aerosol cleaners.
Routine maintenance includes regular wiping with a nubuck cloth and applying a protectant spray every 6 months. When using protectant spray allow time for the nubuck to thoroughly dry before using or wearing it. The best time to spray this protectant is after cleaning your nubuck surface.

Polido Leather
Polido leather has a sleek and refined appearance. It is typically characterized by a shiny or polished surface, giving it an elegant and formal look. Polido leather requires regular care to maintain its polished appearance.
Polido leather is commonly used for our visionary shoes or bags. Most of our loafers are made from polido leather.

Suede
Suede is made from the underside of the hide, that is why suede has a velvety surface. It is softer than regular leather but more prone to stains and wear.
Because suede is softer than regular leather, it makes it comfortable to wear. Also suede lets air pass through, so you can properly wear it in different seasons. Styles where we use suede the most are; Low Top, Mondo.
To care for suede:
Use a suede brush with wire and rubber bristles to remove debris and scuff marks.
Brush gently in the fabric's grain direction to avoid damage.
Avoid harsh brushing and protect from chemicals, sweat, and oils.
Store away from sunlight and in a cool, dark place.
Treat stains promptly; blot water stains and use baking soda for oil/grease stains.
Use a colourless eraser or nail file for dry stains, and avoid chemical stain removers.
Use a leather cleaner specifically for suede if other methods fail.

Nappa Leather
Nappa leather is a soft and supple top-grain leather, renowned for its smooth and luxurious texture. It is a staple material in our collection, used on premium styles like the Sprinter, Jet Runner, and Ace.
For a more distinct look, we also offer Nappa Grain. Featured on our Low Top and Mondo, this full-grain variation preserves the visible, natural texture of the hide. While sharing the signature softness of standard Nappa, Nappa Grain offers a unique character that improves with age, developing a beautiful, rich patina over time.
To care for Nappa and Nappa Grain, wipe the surface with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove loose dirt. For stains, use a cotton washcloth dampened with lukewarm water or a gentle foam cleaner. Do not soak the leather; simply dab the stain carefully and allow it to air dry naturally. We recommend periodically applying a leather conditioner to keep the material nourished and prevent it from drying out.

Crumbs
Crumbs is a unique embossed leather, named for its distinct, finely textured surface. This specific structure is created by carefully pressing a granular pattern onto the leather's surface, resulting in a sophisticated finish that resembles fine crumbs. This process not only gives the material a unique tactile appeal but also enhances its durability, making it more resistant to the minor scuffs and scratches of daily wear. We use Crumbs on our Low Tops, Mondo’s and Cruisers sneakers.
To care for Crumbs leather, first use a soft brush to gently remove any dust or dirt from within the textured surface. For light cleaning, wipe with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. For tougher marks, apply a gentle foam cleaner onto a cloth and work it into the leather in a soft, circular motion, then wipe clean.
Always allow the leather to air dry naturally, away from direct heat. To keep the material protected and nourished, we recommend periodically applying a quality leather conditioner and finishing with a protectant spray to guard against water and stains.

Canvas
Canvas is a classic and highly durable, plain-woven fabric, traditionally made from cotton. Its strength comes from a tight weave, making it resistant to tearing while remaining lightweight and breathable. This versatility and comfort make it an ideal material for casual, everyday footwear, and it serves as a perfect base for a wide range of colors and prints. This specific fabric is mainly used for our Riviera sneakers.
To care for your canvas footwear, first remove the laces and use a dry brush to remove any loose dirt. For spot cleaning, apply a gentle cleaner or a paste of mild soap and water with a soft brush or cloth, scrubbing gently in a circular motion. Wipe away the excess soap with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid machine washing, as it can damage the shoe's structure.
Allow the footwear to air dry completely at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat, which can cause yellowing or warping. To help them keep their shape, you can stuff them with paper. For added protection, a stain and water repellent spray can be applied before the first wear and after each cleaning.

Hairy Suede
Hairy Suede is a special variation of classic suede, distinguished by its noticeably longer and shaggier nap. While traditional suede has a fine, velvety finish, Hairy Suede is intentionally left more fibrous and rugged to create a unique, highly textural appearance. We use this material to our Low Top, Riviera’s, Cruisers en Mondo’s to add a rich, tactile dimension, providing a distinct contrast to smoother leathers.
Caring for Hairy Suede requires attention to its unique texture. The most important step is to brush it regularly with a suede brush to keep the long fibers clean, separated, and free of debris. Always brush gently in the direction of the nap to avoid a tangled look. For dry marks, use a suede eraser.
Treat stains immediately by blotting, and avoid soaking the material with water. For tougher stains, use a cleaner specifically designed for suede. To protect it from the elements, apply a stain and water repellent spray before the first wear and reapply after cleaning.

Mesh
Mesh is a lightweight, high-performance fabric characterized by its open, net-like weave. Typically made from durable synthetic fibers like polyester or nylon, its primary benefits are exceptional breathability and flexibility. This allows air to circulate freely, providing superior comfort. We use mesh for the uppers on athletic-inspired styles like our Prism and Cruisers to create a sneaker that is both comfortable and modern.
To clean mesh, start by using a soft, dry brush to gently remove any loose dirt from the surface. For a deeper clean, mix a small amount of mild soap with lukewarm water and apply it with a soft cloth or brush in a gentle, circular motion. Wipe away any excess soap with a clean, damp cloth.
Avoid machine washing your sneakers as this can damage their structure. Always allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat. For added protection against dirt and moisture, you can treat the mesh with a protective spray.

Knitwear
Our knitwear is crafted from fine, lustrous yarns chosen for their exceptional softness and fluid drape. These fibers, derived from natural sources, are spun to create a material with a beautiful, silk-like feel and a subtle sheen. We use viscose among other materials for our knitwear to create pieces that are not only breathable and comfortable but also possess an elegant fit that moves with the wearer.
In contrast, our wool knitwear offers a cozy counterpoint. Celebrated for its superior natural insulation and breathability, these pieces feature chunky textures and intentionally oversized silhouettes designed to envelop you in substantial warmth.
To maintain the beauty and shape of your knitwear, a gentle touch is required. We highly recommend hand washing in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting the garment; instead, gently squeeze out excess water.
The most crucial step is drying. Reshape the garment while damp and lay it flat on a clean towel or drying rack, away from direct sunlight or heat. Never hang a wet knit, as its weight can cause it to stretch. For the same reason, store your knitwear folded rather than on a hanger to prevent it from losing its shape over time. If ironing is needed, use a low heat setting on the reverse side of the fabric, preferably while it is still slightly damp. If your knitwear develops any pilling over time, it can be easily removed with a fabric shaver.
Recommended care products: A mild, pH-neutral laundry detergent.
Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is a natural fiber grown using methods that have a low impact on the environment. It's cultivated without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or genetically modified seeds. This sustainable approach results in a material that is not only better for the planet but also exceptionally soft, breathable, and gentle on the skin, making it the perfect choice, for example for our jerseys.
To maintain the quality and softness of your organic cotton pieces, we recommend washing them at a low temperature, ideally 30°C (86°F), with similar colours. Turn the garment inside out before washing to protect the surface. Use a mild, eco-friendly detergent and avoid using bleach.
For best results and to prevent shrinking, air-dry your jersey by laying it flat or hanging it. Iron on a low setting if necessary, and iron the garments inside out to avoid damaging the prints.
Recommended care products: A mild, eco-friendly laundry detergent.
