Filling Pieces X Schott NYC
We are thrilled to reveal our latest collaboration with New York City heritage brand Schott. Once again working with their team to reimagine their iconic bombardier jacket.
From its inception as an aviator's uniform in the early 1900’s to its popularisation by allied forces throughout WWII, the bombardier jacket forged itself a rugged reputation. One that was quickly adopted by 50’s Hollywood stars and bikers alike. Who wore it not only for recognition, but for expert craftsmanship, premium materials and innovative functional details. A legacy that is still found in every stitch, allowing a new generation to feel the weight of history on their shoulders.
Carefully crafted by Schott’s master tailors, our jacket is made exclusively from leather hides tanned using specifications developed over the course of more than 100 years. Resulting in a premium camel colored coat that features shearling lining, beige leather straps, and a custom FP leather patch.
Undoubtedly, it’s a jacket made for journeys. Ideal for explorers like Alassane Diong, who joined us for a hike in Lac du Crozet, France. Taking our shearling jacket out of its modern street wear context and bringing it back to its roots - functionality and reliability.
Through its warm layers of wool and leather, the coat provides a sense of security that allows you to be at ease within the wilderness, and within yourself. A reminder to reconnect, to stand still, and enjoy your own company.
