FOOTWEAR

The first ever Filling Pieces shoe was designed by our founder, Guillaume Philibert, in 2009. Since then, a lot has changed. Filling Pieces has grown from a one-man operation to an international team of creatives. Having originated in the garage of Guillaume's parents, Filling Pieces is now based in a historic bank building in the centre of the Amsterdam canals. There is more than enough room for our team of young, ambitious designers to work under one roof, in a space that inspires and fuels creativity.

Every style designed is a product of the innovative ideas and dedication to creativity that happens under our roof.

READY-TO-WEAR

2018 marked a new chapter in the Filling Pieces story with the release of our first ready-to-wear collection. Our entrance into the world of apparel is just another big step in the expansion of the FP universe as we extend our design skills way beyond footwear, where it all began.

The growth of our ready-to-wear offering will make it an increasingly vital part of the brand in the future.

INSTALLATIONS

Our installations form the foundation of our visual identity. Each year, at our biannual Paris Fashion Week showroom, we introduce the fashion world to a whole new season of innovative designs. Our installations act as sculptural displays that not only house the new product but also communicate the theme of the collection, providing context. Our ambitious installation pieces keep getting better and better with every season.

PROCESS

Each and every pair of Filling Pieces is lovingly handcrafted from the finest Italian-sourced materials by our team in Portugal. More than just the manufacturers of our products, our Portuguese production team work in close collaboration with our Amsterdam-based designers, helping them achieve perfection at each stage of the prototyping process until the final silhouette is mastered. We do our utmost to ensure our design process creates the highest-quality product possible, whilst using the most sustainable production methods currently available.
